Delegate Info

When you reach out to our campaign, we will provide information and assistance in becoming a delegate to the Libertarian Party national convention!

  • Contrary to some of the advice shared elsewhere, you do not register as a delegate through any candidate. Registration as a delegate takes place through a Libertarian Party state affiliate and every state affiliate has its own bylaws.
  • Once you are approved as a delegate, you will need to be physically present at the Libertarian Party convention in Washington D.C. to vote during Memorial Day Weekend, from Friday May 24 to Sunday May 26, 2024.

  • A link to your state’s bylaws where available
  • An invitation to join our monthly delegate calls where you can get news and updates, and as questions while you decide on a candidate
  • Inclusion in our free rideshare / lodging matching service
  • A call from someone on our team to help facilitate your delegate registration in case the bylaws are confusing

Note: While our team may have an opinion on each state’s bylaws, it is up to you to contact them directly for specific details.
